The Goa TET is conducted by the Government of Goa to recruit the candidates for teacher positions in various Govt. and Private Schools in the state of Goa. This examination is for the candidates who wish to become teachers of primary class (I to V) and upper Primary (VI-VIII) schools.
Goa TET Important dates
Start of Online Application process: December
Last date for Online Application process: 2nd week of January
Issue of Admit card: 1st week of February
Goa TET Exam Date: 2nd week of February
Announcement of Results: 2nd week of March
Counselling process starts from: 4th week of March
Goa TET Eligibility Criteria
The candidate should be a citizen of India.
The candidate must be a resident of Goa.
The minimum age of the candidate should be 18 years.
For Primary Classes (I to V), the candidate should have successfully completed their class 12 or other equivalent examination with 45% marks OR Candidates who have appeared or completed their 2 year Diploma in Elementary Education OR Candidates who have appeared or completed in their 4 year Bachelor of Elementary Education (B.El.Ed.) OR Candidates who have completed their 2 year diploma in Special education.
For upper Primary (VI-VIII) schools, the candidate should have successfully completed their Graduation with a minimum of 50% marks. They should also complete or appear for a B.Ed degree.
Goa TET Exam Pattern & Syllabus
The Goa TET examination will comprise of two papers with objective type questions
Paper I is for candidates who wish to become teachers of class I to class VIII
Paper II is for candidates who wish to become teachers of class VI to VIII
Candidates who wish to apply for both primary and upper primary classes will have to appear for both papers I and paper II.
Each paper will be of 150 marks as mentioned below-

Goa TET Application Process
The applicants are required to register online for Goa TET by visiting the official website www.education.goa.gov.in. With the successful completion of the registration process, the candidates will be provided with the login credentials.
Fill up the application form using the login id and password
The candidates are required to upload the scanned copy of the signature and recent passport size photograph.
The application process ends with the payment of application fees using Netbanking/Credit/Debit Card or through bank challan.
